  • Experienced voice teacher, with proven ability to develop and present highly effective voice lessons in both classroom and private environments. 
  • Comprehensive academic training in voice, vocal pedagogy, and music combined with extensive active background in performing arts (both teaching and performing). 
  • Excellent listener with strong ability to understand singers, identify singing tension, and apply specific solutions based on individualized body work.

  • Engaged for a year as a visiting artist and voice teacher at Covenant College, GA, coaching singers for recitals, performance seminars, and juries. 
  • Past research includes: targeted strength and flexibility training that enhance vocal production and vocal longevity by applying the principles of Manual Physical Therapy and the Feldenkrais Method. 
  • Currently, synergizes these techniques with the cutting edge: Hennessy Breath & BodyWork, a systematic approach to releasing and supporting the voice through body work, developed by Ruth Hennessy (Indiana University).
